Taking care of our bodies all begins with getting up and moving. Especially with the holidays coming around, it’s going to be important to keep that movement up and we help people with that every day.

So let’s call this month Movember. No, not the mustache growing event. We’re talking about move-mber. On this episode, we wanted to take you through our process for helping people achieve these different types of movement in order to improve their physical health.

At the Omega Chiropractic Center, movement and mobility are at the center of much of what we do. We spend a lot of time working with people to help them prep their bodies for movement. It’s a multi-step process that ultimately moves to our Dojo, which is where we are constantly holding classes and working on movement.

No matter who you are and how old you might be, we have a process that applies to everyone who comes in to work with us. We first want to find what’s causing the issue and then do basic rehab for that. Then we do the FMS to find the dysfunctions in your movements. That’s when we start to tailor the exercise part based on a person’s movement patterns and that’s where the Dojo comes in.

You might also be wondering what types of movement we do? There’s a wide range but it includes the foam roller, deep breathing, active and dynamic mobility, and more.

When it gets down to it, our goal is to educate people on how to perform well. That’s the whole point of everything we try to do with chiropractic, nutrition and movement, and why we decided to use this episode to discuss all things Movember.

If you have any other questions or what to improve your mobility, please get in touch.
