Mental health has become a priority across the country as many people face these emotional challenges.

Just look at the statistics and it’s clear that our country faces a serious problem. From 1999-2014, the number of anti-depressants increased by more than 64% for people ages 12 and up. That’s such a crazy stat but it shows just how much this problem has grown in recent years.

And these mental health struggles are very prevalent amongst our veteran population. These brave men and women that have served this country often carry emotional scars that they have to cope with every day. That’s why our offices support the Wounded Warrior Project and will be making that a priority these next few months. We have a soft heart for what they go through and the sacrifices they make and that’s why we want to talk about treatment that might help improve their everyday lives.

With all of the side effects that come along with these medications, many people would rather treat their issues in a natural way if they can find the right solutions. Most people might not be aware that a chiropractor can provide relief through proper adjustments. Studies have been done on the relationship between the brain and the spine, which is why the cranioservical adjustment has become a game-changer.

This episode will help explain how these adjustments work and why they’ve benefited our patients so much by improving their mental health. We hope that it’s something you’ll want to consider after learning more. We’ve all experienced times where the pain in our body has impacted our mood in negative ways, but when your body feels good, your mind and attitude follow suit.
